Julie Shochat, Level – Manager

I became a consultant in the energy industry after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Enite, I worked for two global strategy consulting firms, where I focused on a wide range of energy industry sectors: exploration & production, oilfield services, retail gasoline, and energy trading.

I was drawn to Enite for the opportunity to specialize in energy trading and to become part of an entrepreneurial growth opportunity. At Enite, I have worked on a variety of projects, including risk assessment, organizational development, business process improvement, and risk reporting. Some of my recent work has involved program management for a global reorganization within an integrated oil & gas company and development of a regulatory operating plan for the power operations segment of a global energy company.

Outside of Enite, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two beagles

Jay Jayasuriya, Level – Manager

I graduated from the University of Houston, focused on Management & Finance, and have been a consultant in the energy industry for eight years. Prior to Enite, I worked for two boutique consulting firms, where I focused primarily on the power sector.

I joined Enite for a change of pace in the consulting world, keen to focus more on industry and market operations related work. Additionally, I was attracted to the entrepreneurial culture within the organization. Some of my work at Enite has included roles as a subject matter expert preparing for the market redesign of the Texas deregulated power market and also as a project lead implementing a regulatory program—both at large globally integrated energy companies.

Outside of Enite, I enjoy spending time golfing, watching movies and travelling the world with my wife.
